Joe Thurman, 72, Harrodsburg, died Sunday, Dec. 23, 2012, at the Haggin Memorial Hospital, Harrodsburg.
He was born Jan. 30, 1940 in Bradfordsville.
Survivors include: his wife, Lyla Wayne Thurman; and a son, Samuel Wayne Thurman of Lawrenceburg.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 27, at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, with burial in Old Liberty Cemetery, Bradfordsville.
Memorial contributions may be sent to Mercer County Humane Society.
Ransdell Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
