Leonard Thomas "Joe" Pittman, 79, Lebanon, passed away Friday, June 7, 2013 at his residence.
He was born on March 29, 1934.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Val Adam and Ellen Frances Garrett Pittman; and five brothers, Manuel, Carl, Harry, Roger Dale, and Hugh Pittman.
Survivors include: his wife, Lorene Hayden Pittman of Lebanon; a son, Lil' Joe (Denise) Pittman of Lebanon; three daughters, Jeanette Pittman and Shannon Pittman both of Lebanon, and Diana (Danny) Wheeler of Bradfordsville; three brothers, David Pittman and Don V. Pittman both of Lebanon, and Randy Pittman of Indiana; four sisters, Thelma Votaw of Lebanon, Emma Perkins of Campbellsville, Mary Votaw of Tennessee, and Gladys George of Greensburg; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, June 10, at Campbell-DeWitt Funeral Home, Lebanon, with burial in Old Liberty Cemetery. Bro. Bo Sherrell officiated.
Pallbearers were Bobby Hardin, Richard Stumph, Johnny and Patrick Smith, and B.J., Rocky, Scotty and Davey Pittman.
Campbell-DeWitt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
