Margaret Elizabeth O'Bryan Gaddie, 94, Lebanon, passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at Cedars of Lebanon Nursing Home.
She was born on May 21, 1919 to the late Thomas Jefferson and Nettie Rice O'Bryan. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by: her first husband, Charles S. Gaddie; her second husband, George Burress; and one daughter, Jean L. Sanders.
Survivors include: three sons, Joseph S. Gaddie of Morgantown, Stanley T. Gaddie of Highview, and Lewis H. Gaddie of Michigan; three daughters, Mary Sexton of Campbellsville, Nancy Berg of Virginia, and Anna Pickerill of Lebanon; 20 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren; and two special cousins, John L. Newcomb II and Fran McCoy of Bardstown. John and Fran's parents raised Margaret from early childhood to adult.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 6, at the Campbell-DeWitt Funeral Home, Lebanon, with burial in Red Hill Cemetery in Hodgenville. Rev. Tom Rector officiated.
Pallbearers were Greg Gaddie, Joseph Gaddie, Sean Gaddie, Charles Irving Sexton, John Sanders, and Alan Montgomery.
Campbell-Dewitt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
