William Joseph "Billy Joe" Cecil, 40, Finley, passed away Sunday, Aug. 11, 2013.
He was born on Nov. 17, 1972 in Marion County. Cecil was an employee of Joy Mining Company and a member of Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church.
Survivors include: his wife, Tina Blandford Cecil of Finley; three sons, Joseph Todd, Nicholas Kevin, and Jonathon Blade Cecil, all living at home in Finley; his mother, Eva Ann and step-father, David "Pee Wee" Paris of Lebanon; and his brother, David Chad Paris of Louisville.
A Mass of Christian burial was held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14, at Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church with interment in the church cemetery. Rev. Bill Bowling officiated.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions made to an education fund established for Billy Joe's three sons.
Pallbearers were Greg Gaddie, Jeffery Cecil, Jimmy Sandusky, Eric Mattingly, Billy Moore, and Kirk Cecil.
Bosley Funeral Home, Lebanon, was in charge of arrangements.
