Alicia Blandford Newton, 98, Louisville, passed away at home on Saturday, Sept. 14.
She is preceded in death by: her husband John C. "Carl" Newton.
Survivors include: her children, Janet Shulthise, Sheila Hawkins and Roger Newton all of Louisville.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 3560 North Saint Francis Road, Loretto, with interment in the church cemetery. Rev. R. Joseph Hemmerle will be the celebrant.
Pallbearers are Joe Shulthise, Roger Newton, Lance Carr, Jerry Craig, Derik Piel, and Billy Gowan.
Mattingly Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
