Dr. Beaman N. Dearinger, 87, Bardstown, passed away at 8:36 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2017 at his home.
A native of Washington County, he was born on June 6, 1930 to the late Arlie V. and Ophia Drury Dearinger. He was a charter member of the Parkway Baptist Church and a watch care winter member of the Buckhead Ridge Baptist Church in Okeechobee, Florida. He attended Campbellsville College and was a graduate of Lincoln Chiropractic College in Indianapolis, Indiana. He actively practiced at his chiropractic office in Lebanon and Bardstown for 59 1/2 years. He was an army veteran.
He was preceded in death by: two stepsons, Thomas E. Benedict on Feb. 21, 2016 and David A. Benedict on Aug. 14, 2016; and a brother, Julian Dearinger on Aug. 29, 2001.
Survivors include: his wife, Lou Benedict Dearinger; a son, Jeff Dearinger of North Carolina; two grandsons, Richard Zakary Dearinger and Squires Maxwell Dearinger; two step-grandchildren, Amber Ervin (Jay) and Robby Benedict (Michelle); six step-great-grandchildren; a brother, Joseph Dearinger of Ocala, Florida; and two sisters, Sue Yeager (Willis) of Louisville and Judy Sharp (Bo) of Florida.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Friday, Sept. 8. at Parkway Baptist Church with burial in Bethlehem Cemetery in Springfield. Dr. James Carroll, the church pastor, officiated.
Pallbearers were Zak Dearinger, Max Dearinger, Jay Ervin, Dr. Bartley Klindt, Trae Purdom, and Ray Yeager.
