Bernice "Bea" G. Phillips, 90, Clarksville, Ind., formerly of Lebanon and Campbellsville, died at 7:28 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2012 in Clarksville, Ind.

Born on Sept. 15, 1922 in Taylor County, she professed faith in Christ and was a member of the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Lebanon. She was a retired registered nurse, family planning executive and educator, having worked at Mary Immaculate Hospital in Lebanon, Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville and Lincoln Trail District Health Department in Elizabethtown.
She married Lester A. Phillips on July 5, 1947. He preceded her in death Dec. 20, 1989. She was also preceded in death by: her parents, Henry Griffin and Kizzie Campbell Griffin; and two sisters, Doris Harding Griffin in infancy and Barbara Griffin.
Survivors include: three daughters and one son, Terri Crawford and husband, Mac of Lexington, Leslie Thomas and husband, Larry of Greenville, Ind., Barbie Fiske-Phillips and husband, Loring of Redlands, Calif. and Hank Phillips and wife, Leslie of Lexington; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 22 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville with burial in Harding Cemetery. Griffin Phillips will officiate.
Pallbearers are Chip Crawford, Ben Good, Steve Hamilton, John Phillips, and Corey and Curt Thomas.
Family requests expressions of sympathy be donations to S.O.A.R. or Hosparus of Louisville and Southern Indiana and may be made at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.
