Clifton Roution, 83, Lebanon, passed away Thursday, July 27, 2017 at Ephraim McDowell Hospital in Danville.
He was born on Feb. 2, 1934 in Lebanon. Roution served nine years in the U.S. Air Force. While stationed in Hawaii, he met and married, Mary Jane in November 1956. He has participated in flea markets for many years.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Willie and Elizabeth Shuck Roution; sister, Edith Ann Wiser; and brother, Jerry Roution.
Survivors include: his wife, Mary Jane Ward Roution; two sons, John M. (Bonnie) Roution, all of Lebanon and Gregory Wayne (Jeni) Roution of Floyd Knobs, Indiana; four brothers, Bobby (Hazel) Roution of Shepherdsville, Phillip (Dianna) Roution and Roger Roution, all of Lebanon, and Steve (Pam) Roution of Shepherdsville; two sisters, Nancy (Ray) Madison of Shively and Linda Gildwell of Jamestown; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 31, at Bosley Funeral Home, Lebanon, with interment in Lebanon National Cemetery with full military honors conducted by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard. Rev. John Watts and Rev. John Russell Stanger officiated.
Pallbearers were John Roution Jr., Daniel Spurling, Chad Roution, Cliff Carter, Michael Withrow, and C.J. Luce.
Bosley Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
