Dorothy Juanita Tamme, 83, Lebanon, formerly of Danville, died Saturday, Aug. 24, 2013.

She was born on Feb. 20, 1930 in Harrodsburg. She was the daughter of the late Raymond T. Phillips and Mildred Lair Campbell. She was a graduate of the Sisters of Good Shepherd High School in Louisville and a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. She was a seamstress who specialized in draperies and had worked at Boyle Pharmacy.
She was preceded in death by: her brother, Raymond Phillips; a great-great-granddaughter, Delainey; and her husbands, Alvin Eugene Edwards and Eugene Arnold Tamme.
Survivors include: seven children, Barbara (Dean) Brule of Jacksonville, Fla., Donna Edwards of Danville, Victor (Pat) Edwards of Louisville, Carolyn Edwards of Bardstown, Patty Confer of Lebanon, Dottie Lunsford of Lebanon and Sandy Tamme of Gravel Switch; 11 grandchildren, Julie, Sonja, Marcie, Randy, Cameron, Monica, Melissa, Joey, Josh, Jeff, Jenny; 19 great-grandchildren, Sydney, Allie, Andrew, Christopher, Cameron, Kelli, Malajah, Kourtlyn, Jasmine, Korynn, Blayne, Kyler, Braylon, Sydney, Christopher, Anna, Josh, Megan, and Ashley; one great-great-grandchild, Aliyah; and a close friend, Mary Brady.
The funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 29, at Ss Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Father Tom Farrell will be the celebrant. Dorothy chose cremation. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery.
