Frances Christine Mattingly, 92, Lebanon, passed away Monday, Dec. 24, 2012 at Spring View Hospital.

She was born Nov. 23, 1920 in Marion County. Mattingly retired from Jane & Linda Sportswear after 40 plus years, and was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by: her first husband, Carl Leonard Turner; her second husband, William C. 'Kelly' Mattingly; her parents, James Richard and Lula Frances Mudd Lanham; a grandson, Joseph David Buckler; four sisters, Virgie Crane, Margaret Ward, Mary Elizabeth Thomas and Catherine Wethington; three brothers, Everett, Raymond and Clarence Lanham; and a son-in-law, Joe Buckler.
Survivors include: three daughters, Barbara Jean (Gerald) Hillman of Lebanon, Betty Carol Buckler of Shepherdsville and Frances Jane (Leo) Nalley of Loretto; two step-daughters, Bernice Noll of Dayton, Ohio and Janice Kohlem of Cincinnati, Ohio; a step-son, Howard Mattingly of Calvary; nine grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; and six step-great-grandchildren.
A funeral Mass was held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 28, at St. Augustine Catholic Church with interment in St. Augustine Church Cemetery. Rev. William M. Bowling officiated.
Pallbearers were Steve and Kenny Hillman, Tony and Jeff Nalley, Kevin A. Buckler, and Tim Baize.
