Hazel Richardson Gerstle, 102, died Friday, Nov. 16, 2012, in Louisville.

She was born to the late Luther Floyd and Tennessee Florence Carr Richardson on April 4, 1910 in Livingston, Tenn.
Besides her parents she was also preceded in death by her first husband, John Cecil Cook;, her second husband, Irvine M. Gerstle; a brother, Jim Richardson; a sister, Bessie Bittner; and three grandchildren, Donna Michelle Mack, George Abell, and Vaughn Leake.
Survivors incude: two daughters, Juanita Abell and Donna Jean Leake, both of Lebanon; one niece, Charolette DeShiais of Akron, Ohio; 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; several step-great-great-grandchildren; one great-great-great-grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20, at Campbell-DeWitt Funeral Home, Lebanon, with burial in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery. Bro. Charles Belvins officiated.
Pallbearers were Keith Richardson, Jerry Darling, Wally Abell, Mike Madden, Wayne Abell, Mike McDonough, Howard Followell, and Andrew Followell.
Campbell-DeWitt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
