James Clinton Tucker, 78, passed away peacefully at his home on March 24, 2014.
He was born on Jan. 13, 1936 in Marion County. He was an elder at the Lebanon Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. He retired from working at G.E. for 35 years and as manager of Lebanon-Springfield Airport for 17 years.
He was preceded in death by: two baby daughters, Kim and Kelly; his parents, Jim Ed and Hattie Tucker; and three brothers, Donald, Ralph and Russell Tucker.
Survivors include: his wife of 33 years, Margaret McPherron Tucker of Lebanon; three children, Karen (Hugh) O'Daniel of Lebanon, Cory of Tennessee, and Chad of California; two brothers, Lawrence of Lebanon and Bill of Lexington; eight grandchilden; one great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews. A special thank you to caregivers of nine months, Sue Tucker and T.J. Tungate and the staff of Hosparus.
A memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, March 30, 2014 at the Lebanon Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses with David Spalding officiating. Visitations will be held at the Congregation beginning at 12:30 p.m.
