James Richard Wise Jr., 60, Raywick, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2018 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.
He was born on July 2, 1958 in Marion County and was the owner and operator of Wise Trucking Company.
He was preceded in death by: parents, James Richard Wise Sr. and Shirley Corine Mikel Wise.
Survivors include: four sisters, Louise (Peanut) Lawson of Campbellsville, Lisha (Buster) Bright of Lebanon, Nina Hunt of Campbellsville, and Stephanie Wise of Loretto; five brothers: Gary (Jo Ann) Wise, Michael (Kim) Wise, all of Lebanon, John (Diana) Wise of Hinesville, Georgia, Joseph "Chubby" Wise, and William Rogers, both of Lebanon; and several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 4, at Bosley Funeral Home, Lebanon, with interment in St. Joe Cemetery. Deacon Joe Dant officiated.
Active pallbearers were Chubby Wise, Gary Wise, Michael Wise, John Wise, Peanut Lawson, Darrell Wise, Bobby Mays, and Steve Kirkland.
Honorary pallbearers were Junior Bohannon, Buster Bright, Melvin Beard, Butch Votaw, Tommy Wise, and Slow Jack Rogers.
Bosley Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
