Joseph Michael Robey IV, 17, Lebanon, passed away Sunday, Sept. 9, 2018 as a result of an auto accident.
He was born on Nov. 9, 2000 in Marion County. He was a senior at Marion County High School. He played softball and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He was preceded in death by: his great-grandparents, Viola and Junior Fields, Albert Lee and Vincent A. Lee, and Joseph Michael and Lillie Robey.
Survivors include: his parents, Christy Lee (Jake Gordon) of Lebanon and Joseph Michael Robey III of Saint Francis; one sister, Savannah Lee of Lebanon; two brothers, Dylan Abell of Saint Mary's and Brandon Lee of Lebanon; grandparents, Peggy and Jack Lee of Saint Mary's, Marvin Cecil of Saint Francis, Danny Hourigan of Lebanon, Diane and Tim Medley of Loretto, and Joseph Michael Robey Jr. of Saint Francis; and great-grandparents, Carl Dean and Jeanie Mattingly of Loretto and Rose Marie Lee of Raywick.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12, at Abundant Life Church, 549 N. Spalding Avenue, Lebanon, with burial in St. Francis of Assisi Church cemetery in St. Francis. Tony Brahm will preside.
Visitation is 2-p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11, at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto and 12-2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12, at Abundant Life Church. A prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are Christopher Craig, Joey Anderson, Bailey Gardner, Justin Thompson, Owen Mattingly, and Lil Austin Smith.
Honorary pallbearers are Amber Edelen, Jacob Mattingly, Greg Wilson, Devon Murphy, Dylan Abell, Taylor Hill, and A.J. Hill.
Memorial donations may go toward burial expenses and may be made at the funeral home or online at mattinglyfuneralhome.com.
