Joseph Walter "Joe" Fisher, 73, Lebanon, passed away Monday, Sept. 9, 2013 at Jewish Hospital, Louisville.

He was born on May 22, 1940 in Marion County. Fisher was a retired farmer and worked for the Marion County Board of Education as a bus driver. He was a member of the Arbuckle Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by: his wife, Mary Lou Garrett Fisher; his parents, Clarence and Rhoda Sallee Fisher; and a brother, Raymond Fisher.
Survivors include: two brothers, Earnest Fisher of Lebanon and Daniel Fisher of Campbellsville; six sisters, Geraldine Garrett and Rena Tungate both of Lebanon, Judy Tungate of Mannsville, Alice Nalley and Janice Myers both Campbellsville, and Eula Pendygraft of Shepherdsville; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 12 at Bosley Funeral Home, Lebanon, with interment in Old Liberty Cemetery. Daniel Fisher officiated.
Pallbearers were Emanuel Nalley, James Paul Lyons, Joey Tungate, Billy Dye, Dale Tungate, and Mathew Fisher.
Bosley Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
