Lelia "Ada" McCarty, 92, Lebanon, died Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2013 at the Cedars of Lebanon Nursing Home.

She was born on Oct. 1, 1921 to the late Charlie Matt and Nannie Jane Price Wright. She was a homemaker and a member of Lebanon Baptist Church.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by: her first husband, Hulet Belle; her second husband, Joseph McCarty; an infant daughter, Linda Sue Belle; four sisters, Claudia Beard, Nellie Price, Ruby Lindsey, and Mary Catherine Spivey; and five brothers, Edgar, Lee, Johnny, Alfred, and Charles Wright Jr.
Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Norman Kenneth "Kenny" and Brenda Sue Belle of Lebanon; three grandchildren, Kimberly Sue (Joey) Miles of Raywick, Lisa Dawn (Jeremy) Smith of Campbellsville, and Tammy Jo (Larry) Drury of Lexington; six great-grandchildren, Joseph Daniel Miles, Trevor Wade Miles, Autumn Belle Drury, Nathan Clay Drury, Avery IsaBelle Smith, and Kenneth Blaine Smith; two great-great-grandchildren, Sara Brooklyn Hubble and Patricia Lexi Miles; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 18, at Campbell-DeWitt Funeral Home, Lebanon, with burial in Lebanon National Cemetery. Bro. Clellan Hayes officiated.
Pallbearers were Larry Drury, Nathan Drury, Seth Benningfield, Daniel Miles, Trevor Miles, Jeremy Smith, and Joey Miles.
Campbell-DeWitt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
