Leo Burton Gordon, 86, Lebanon, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at Spring View Hospital.

He was born on April 3, 1927 in Marion County. Gordon was a U.S. Army veteran, a retired employee of Kentucky Highway Department, and a member of Our Lady of the Hills Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, William E. and Annie Bridgett Watkins Gordon; a daughter, Patricia Jeannie Benningfield; a sister, Lillian Kirkland; and brothers, Sidney, J.W. and John Gordon.
Survivors include: his wife, Frances Knopp Gordon of Lebanon; three sons, Butch (Cabrina) Gordon, Terry Gordon and Kevin (Barbara) Gordon all of Lebanon; three daughters, Rosaline (Bernard) Miles, Tina (Patrick) Wible and Bridgett (Chris) Wheatley all of Lebanon; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial was held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 14 at Our Lady of the Hills Catholic Church with interment in Lebanon National Cemetery. Rev. Jim Reinhart and Rev. Jeff Leger officiated. Military honors were conducted by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard.
Pallbearers were Joey Benningfield, Clay Benningfield, Chad Miles, Corey Wible, Jared Wheatley, and Shawn Gordon.
Bosley Funeral Home, Lebanon, was in charge of arrangements.
