Margaret Ann Shofner, 69, Elizabethtown, died Saturday, May 25, at Hardin Memorial Hospital.

She was a native of Marion County, a member of St. James Catholic Church and formerly worked at KMart.
She was preceded in death by: her son, Kevin Douglas Shofner; her parents, Talbert and Bessie Alford Edwards; a brother Thomas Edwards; a sister Catherine Roberts; and a sister-in-law, Marlene Thomas.
Survivors include: her husband, Ronnie Shofner of Elizabethtown; a daughter, Victoria Shofner of Elizabethtown; four brothers, Bernard (Henrietta) Edwards and Charles (Gertrude) Edwards both of Lebanon, Robert (Jane) Edwards of Frankfort and James (Ruby) Edwards of Kokomo, Ind.; five sisters, Ruth (Wilbur) Davis, Rose (Robert) Sanders, Linda (Joe) Abell, Elizabeth Napier all of Lebanon, and Theresa Rakes of Florida; two brothers-in-law, Randall Thomas of Lebanon and George Roberts of Bardstown; two grandsons, Brandon and Zachary Shofner; two granddaughters, Sierra Shofner and Shahaley Minton; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 11 at St. James Catholic Church with burial in St. James Cemetery. Rev. Chuck Walker will officiate.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Monday, June 10 at Brown Funeral Home, Elizabethtown. There will be a prayer vigil service at 7 p.m.
