Margaret Celeste Brady Thompson, 93, Lebanon, passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at her residence.

She was born on Sept. 15, 1919 in Marion County. She was a former housekeeper for the old Saint Mary's College, a Kentucky Colonel and a member of Saint Charles Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Joseph Bernard Thompson; her parents, Louis B. and Maggie Settles Brady; three sisters, Aletha Perry, Dorothy Farmer and Maxine Lee; and six brothers, Spencer, Shelton, Everett, O'Shea, Stanley and Frank Brady.
Survivors include: one son, Joseph Barton Thompson (Glenda) of Cleveland, Tenn.; three daughters, Bernice Lawson (Richard) and Linda Thompson all of Lebanon, Patricia Nieters (James) of Crestwood; eight grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren; one brother, John Foster Brady of Hodgenville; and three sisters-in-law, Goldie Brady, Ernestine Brady and Merle Brady.
A Mass of Christian burial was held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, at Saint Charles Catholic Church, 675 Hwy 327, Lebanon, with interment in the Saint Augustine Cemetery in Lebanon. Rev. James W. Graf was the celebrant.

Pallbearers were Michael Lawson, Chad Nieters, Andrew Nieters, Bobby Thompson, Chris Mills, B. J. Thompson and Jason Whitehouse.
Mattingly Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
