Martha Jean Willard, 87, Lebanon, passed away Sunday, March 17, 2013 at her residence.

She was born on Feb. 7, 1925 in Marion County. Willard was a lifelong member of the Lebanon United Methodist Church, and a member of the Kentucky Retired Teachers Association. She was a teacher with the Lebanon City Schools for 35 years.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Clarence Eugene and Mattie Edward Willard; a brother, William Paul Willard; and three cousins, Mary Moore, George Yankey and Edward Newquest.
Survivors include: a niece, Melissa W. Greenwell of Corydon, Ind.; and two cousins, Billy Yankey of Mackville and Lowell 'Tom' Yankey of Campbellsville.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 21, at Lebanon United Methodist Church with interment in Ryder Cemetery. Rev. Darren Gillespie officiated.
Active pallbearers were David, Tony and Bryon Clark, Dick Quinn, Bobby Mattingly, and Donnie Leathers.
Honorary pallbearers were members of the Caring Class of Lebanon United Methodist Church.
Bosley Funeral Home, Lebanon, was in charge of arrangements.
