Myrtle Ann Buckman, 81, Lebanon, passed away Monday, Feb. 17, 2014 at Spring View Hospital.

She was born on Feb. 28, 1932 in Marion County. Buckman was a past employee of Lerman Bros. Department Store, a retired employee of Plastic Products in Lebanon, and a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, James Caldwell and Mary Isabelle Wathen Abell; a sister, Shirley Abell Bland; and a brother, Thomas Gerald Abell.
Survivors include: her husband, Fabian Buckman of Lebanon; three sons, Donnie (Joanna) Buckman of Lebanon; Glenn (Kathy) Buckman of Lexington, and Perry (Darlene) Buckman of Elizabethtown; two daughters, Patsy (Ronnie) Thomas of Glasgow and Toni (Tony) Williams of Louisville; 10 grandchildren, Amy (Josh) Ueber of Lexington, Ellen (Jeff) Roberts of Lebanon, Shawn Burkhart of Lexington, Beth (Chad) Russell of Glasgow, Ryan (Mandi) Buckman of Lexington, Christopher (Debbie) Buckman of Lebanon, Patrick Thomas of Winter Park, Colo., Eric Buckman of Lexington, Graham Buckman of Elizabethtown, and Collin Williams of Louisville; three brothers, Bernard (Harlene) Abell of Lebanon, Allan (Brenda) Abell of Finley, and George (Suzanne) Abell of Spring Hill, Fla.; three sisters, Edwardine (Lawrence) Luckett, Wanda (William) Osbourn Thomas, and Marty (Pat) Wheatley, all of Lebanon; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial was held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 22, at St. Augustine Catholic Church with interment in the church cemetery. Rev. Bill Bowling officiated.
Pallbearers were Ryan Buckman, Christopher Buckman, Patrick Thomas, Eric Buckman, Graham Buckman, Dalen Luckett, and Collin Williams.
