Naomi Ozetta Montgomery Edelen, 92, Lebanon, passed away Sunday, May 18, 2014.

She was born on Dec. 15, 1923 in Washington County. Edelen was an inspector at Jane & Linda Sportswear and a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Charles Cornellius Edelen Sr.; three sons, Monte, Melvin, and Calvin Edelen; her parents, George Thomas and Hester Ann Wright Montgomery; seven sisters, Odie Brady, Hattie Montgomery, Evie Wright, Mary Helen Smalley, Nannie Montgomery, Jane Calhoun, and Minnie Weathers; and four brothers, Erskin Montgomery, Thomas Montgomery, Alton Montgomery, and George Montgomery.
Survivors include: eight daughters, Julie Mattingly (Clelland) of Lebanon, Lorraine Stevens (Dr. Tom) of Grand Blanc, Mich., Connie Jackson (Fred) of Denver, Colo., Charlene Edwards (Donnie) of Campbellsville, Sheila Lewis (Mark) of Medina, Ohio, Jackie Edelen, Glenda Jackson (William), and Sabrina Edelen, all of Louisville; four sons, Charles Edelen (Betty) of Thomson, Ga., William Edelen (Mary Lillian) of Louisville, Michael Edelen (Jeanie) of Elk Creek, and Pat Edelen (Sherri) of Louisville; a sister, Dorothy Frances Wright of Louisville; 37 grandchildren; 55 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial was held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 23, at St. Augustine Catholic Church with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Bill Bowling officiated.
Pallbearers were Brian Edelen, Josh Young, Phil Taylor, Jesse Lyons, James Harris, and Will Jones.
Bosley Funeral Home, Lebanon, was in charge of arrangements.
