Niles Clinton Gribbins, 86, New Hope, passed away Monday, March 3, 2014 at Flaget Memorial Hospital in Bardstown.
He was born on Dec. 13, 1927 in Raywick. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Raymond and Jessie Spivey Gribbins; one infant daughter, Cheryl Gribbins.
Survivors include: three daughters, Nila Gribbins of West Point, Sharon Bonn of Louisville and Laura Mallm of New Jersey; and one son, Mike Gribbins of Louisville.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 8, at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto, with burial in Old Libery Cemetery, Bradfordsville, where military rites will be conducted by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard. Rev. Deacon Eddie Hutchins will officiate.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. till 8 p.m. Friday, March 7, at Mattingly Funeral Home.
