Nina Brown Phillips Rowlen, 83, Mount Airy, Md, formerly of Lebanon, died Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013 in Mount Airy, Md.

She was born in Calera, Ala. March 24, 1929. While in Lebanon, Rowlen was a member of the Lebanon United Presbyterian Church.
She was preceded in death by: three loving husbands, Joseph Phillips, Jack Cunio, and Jessie Rowlen; her parents, Norman Lee and Annie Mae Brown; a brother, Norman Brown Jr.; a grandson, Christopher Strope; and a step-son, Michael Cunio.
Survivors include: three daughters, Norma Jo (Noel) Douglas, Ann (Mark) Strope and Virginia Dale Phillips; a step-daughter, Beth Rowlen; four grandchildren, Sherri DePollar, Steven (Jenny) DePollar, Tony Strope, and Richard Strope; three step-grandchildren, Jason Cunio, Dobbie and O'Neil Douglas; five great-grandchildren, Taylor Ann Strope, Kyle, Christian, Danielle, and Kai DePollar; two step-great-grandchildren, Kayla and Lauryn Patterson-Douglas; a niece, Ramona (Gerald) Sachs.
A graveside service was held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 26 at Ryder Cemetery.
