Thomas C. Luckett, 73, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2013.
Luckett was a native of Marion County, a U.S. Army veteran, a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church, and owner of Luckett Real Estate as well as Luckett Arabian Horse Farm.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Mary Louise Spalding Luckett and Joseph Garland Luckett; brothers, Joseph Larry and Kevin Luckett.
Survivors include: his wife of 45 years, Eunice Mary Mattingly Luckett; his children, Gerald Wayne Strangmeyer, Ann Spalding Hill and Ellen Elizabeth Luckett; grandchildren, David Wayne Strangmeyer (Brittany), Thomas Nathan Hill, Joseph Luke Harwell and Mara Peyton Harwell; great-grandchildren, Bryce Dean Kyle, Zoey Ray Strangmeyer and Grant Wayne Strangmeyer; brothers, Caroll Luckett (Vev), Kenny Luckett and Garland "Buddy" Luckett; sisters, Nevita Caldwell, Effie Lucas, Libby Nalley (Joe), Darlene Thompson (Joe), Frankie Thomas (Harry), Peggy Jones; and a sister-in-law, Imogene "Tim" Luckett.
A funeral Mass was celebrated at 11 a.m., Friday, Sept. 13, at St. Bernard Catholic Church, Louisville, with burial in Lebanon National Cemetery.
The family has asked that memorial gifts be made to Fern Creek Highview United Ministries and in his memory.
