Thomas "Tommy" Lee Cox, 67, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 30, 2017 at his home in Calvary from his battle with cancer.
He was a former employee of Cox Interior.
He was preceded in death by: his father, Cecil Cox; his mother, Eula Cleversy; and a great-granddaughter, Brooklyn Vaughn.
Survivors include: his wife, Mary Murphy Cox, who he married on June 22, 1973; daughter, Stacy (Chad) Rucker of Phillipsburg; son, Jeff (Amy) Cox of Campbellsville; grandchildren, Brittany Rucker (Bradley and Kenzie) of St. Joe, Peyton Rucker (Chelsie, Jaydon, and Joshua) of Campbellsville, Tyler and Braydon Rucker of Phillipsburg, and Adisyn Cox of Campbellsville; stepmother, Matilda Cox of Phillipsburg; stepfather, Everett Cleversy of Campbellsville; sister, Judy (David) Isaacs of Phillipsburg; two brothers, Michael (Kim) Cox of Danville and Floyd Simmons of Campbellsville; and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Jan. 3, at Campbell-Fisher Funeral Home, Lebanon, with burial in Holy Name of Mary Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Sammy Mattingly, Frank Colvin, Howard Mattingly, Billy Cecil, Bernard Thomas, and Terry Graves.
Honorary pallbearers were Brittany Rucker, Peyton Rucker, Tyler Rucker, Braydon Rucker, Adisyn Cox, and Bradley Vaughn.
Campbell-Fisher Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
