Virginia "Peggy" Schooling, 67, passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.

She was born in Lincoln County to the late Walker and Mary Jane Adams.
Schooling was a nurse for over 35 years and after her retirement went to work at Burke's Bakery in order to keep busy and was there over five years. She loved to play bingo, collect tea pots but above all else loved to spend time with her family especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include: her loving husband, Gordon Schooling; two sons, Jonathan (Renee) Schooling of Lebanon and Jeffrey (Dawn) Schooling of Stanton; one brother, Jimmy (Jewell) Adams of Louisville; five grandchildren, Adam Schooling, Kim (Mike) Hargis, Michael Richardson, Morgan Schooling, and Maddox Schooling; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 10, at Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home, Danville, with burial to follow immediately after in Hustonville Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
