Charles Walter Parrott, 78, Lebanon, passed away Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012, at the Veterans Administration Foster and Hosparus Home in Salem, Ind.

He was born Feb. 2, 1934 in Marion County. Parrott was a retired long haul truck driver and janitor.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Virgil and Mary Lucille Parrott; three brothers, Virgil Jr., Joseph and Stanley Parrott; and two sisters, Mary Rita Newton and Jane Carol Haleman.
Survivors include: two brothers, James Louis (Dink) Parrott of Lincoln, Ill. and Thomas C. Parrott of Louisville; two sisters, Elizabeth Neill of Watseka, Ill. and Marcella Day of Louisville; a sister-in-law, Sherry Parrott of Lebanon; several nieces and nephews; along with great-nieces and nephews.
Cremation was chosen.
A memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, at St. Augustine Catholic Church with interment in the church cemetery.
The family would like to express special thanks to the Veterans Administration and Hosparus of Louisville, along with Debbie Gream caregivers of Salem, Ind.
