John Michael "Johnny Mac" Moore Sr., 66, Lebanon, died Friday, Nov. 2, 2012 at his residence.

He was born June 15, 1946 in Marion County. Moore was a member of Our Lady of the Hill Catholic Church, a former employee of General Electric in Louisville, and a former U.S. Navy veteran.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, James Hardin and Mary Jo Luckett Moore.
Survivors include: his wife, Gladys Moore Blanton of Lebanon; two daughters, Heather Danielle Avila of Louisville and Frances Nicole Moore of Lebanon; a son, John Michael Moore Jr. of Lebanon; a brother, James Terry Moore of Louisville; three sisters, Joyce Ann Livers of Lebanon, Judy Marie Benningfield of Campbellsville, and Mary Lois Lyons of Shelbyville; and six grandchildren, Christopher Michael Moore, Benito Lee Gonzalez, Elexus Marie Gonzalez, Brayden Villafana, Makenzie Nicole Greene, and Aubery Makayla Moore.
A funeral Mass was held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6, at Our Lady of the Hills Catholic Church with interment in the church cemetery. Fr. Chris Rhodes officiated.
Graveside military honors were conducted by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard.
Pallbearers were Darrell Bright, Timmy McCauley, Michael, Darrell and T.J. Moore, and Travis Benningfield.
