Robert Michael Fenwick Sr., 89, Louisville, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013 at Baptist East Hospital, Louisville.

He was born on Sept. 8, 1923 in Springfield. Fenwick was a WW II Army veteran, worked for Frito-Lay and the Kroger Company before opening his own small grocery store in Cincinnatti, Ohio, then retired in 1989.
He was preceded in death by: wife, Joan Margaret Lewis Fenwick; his parents, Leonard and Naomi Walker Fenwick; a son, Robert Michael Fenwick Jr.; two sisters, Mary Virginia Langevin and Evelyn Ewing; and a brother, James Cleo Fenwick.
Survivors include: a son, Stephen Lee Fenwick of Kansas City, Mo.; a daughter, Kimberly Ann Bowling of Louisville; and a brother, Dr. Paul Fenwick of Louisville.
A funeral Mass was held at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 28, at St. Augustine Catholic Church with interment in Lebanon National Cemetery. Rev. Bill Bowling officiated.
Pallbearers were Paul Fenwick Jr., Bill Barnes, Dustin Billman, Patrick Buckley, and Bobby Fenwick.
