Ida Hazel Powell Brady, 87, Lebanon, passed away Monday, Sept. 16, 2013 at Cedars of Lebanon Nursing Home.

She was born on June 1, 1926 in Gravel Switch. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Thomas Raymond and Cassie Ann Lanham Powell; a sister, Georgie Parrott; and three brothers, Tommy Ray, Lacky Wood, and James "Doodlum" Powell.
Survivors include: her husband, James Wilbur Brady of Lebanon; four daughters, Linda Faye (Austin) Mudd of Springfield, Wanda Sue (Curtis) Ice of Bardtown, Patricia Ann Brady and Lisa Michelle Brady, both of Lebanon; two sons, James Larry (Rita) Brady and David Allen (Patricia) Brady, both of Lebanon; two sisters, Gladys Peavy of Lebanon and Pauline Sanchez of Arizona; caregivers Sue Tucker and T.J. Tungate; 14 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial was held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 19, at St. Augustine Catholic Church with interment in Lebanon National Cemetery. Rev. Bill Bowling officiated.
Pallbearers were Stephen Mudd, Christopher Brady, Jason Mudd, Joseph Paul Brady, Larry "Boo Boo" Brady, and Phillip Ice.
