Phenix City, AL- James L. Arnold, 63 of Phenix City, AL passed away Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Pine Point Hospice in Macon, Georgia. Graveside services will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, January 28, 2013 at Evergreen Memory Gardens in Columbus, GA according to Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 3770 Hwy 431 N/280 W, Phenix City, AL. The family will receive friends Sunday from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Arnold was born January 18, 1950 in Columbus, Georgia. He is the son of the late Herman Lenzie Arnold and Emmie Mathis Arnold. He was an avid fisherman, self-employed mechanic and petecostal by faith.
Survivors include his children, Barbara Arnold of Columbus, GA, Donald Arnold of Andalusia, AL, Charles Arnold of Phenix City, AL, sister, Judy Burkett and husband David of Columbus, GA, brothers, John Arnold and wife Patsy and Michael Arnold all from Phenix City, AL, eight grandchildren, four great grandchldren, numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Its been awhile pops. Sure do miss calling you or just pulling up on you. Thinking back some of the best times of my life was going fishing with you. Remeber that time you me larry dixion and his wife went fishing at that one spot were mawmaw and big daddy use to take us. I think he was called kindy cooker. We sat there and catfish after catfish for what seemed like hours. Great memories ill carry forever. Love and miss you old man.
