Anna Desselle Obituary

Anna Willis Desselle January 6, 1918 - July 19, 2009 MOULTRIE, GA—Anna Willis Desselle, 91, of Moultrie, GA passed away Sunday, July 19, 2009 at Park Regency of Moultrie. Funeral service was Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Harrell-Faircloth Funeral Chapel with Rev. Gene Stalvy officiating. Interment followed in the family plot at Westview Cemetery. Visitation was held Tuesday, July 21, 2009, 30 minutes prior to service. Mrs. Desselle was born January 6, 1918 in Quincy, FL to the late Thomas Hollis Willis and Pamela Lamar Willis. She worked in the nursery for 40 years at First United Methodist Church in Moultrie and nine years in nursery at Trinity Baptist Church. Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Covington R. Desselle and a brother, Thomas Hollis Willis, Jr. Survivors include two sons, James Desselle and wife Gwen of Moultrie, GA and Tommy Desselle and wife Michelle of Columbus, GA; sister, Pam Carlson of Montgomery, AL; grandchildren, Hollie Pryor and husband Loyd of Newington, GA and Jay Desselle of Moultrie, GA; great-grandchild, Ethan Pryor. The family requests donations be made to any church nursery of Southern Care Hospice of Moultrie. Harrell-Faircloth Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
