Columbus, GA- Mr. Clifford Harrell Knox passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at Columbus Hospice House. A funeral service will be held Monday August 15, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. EST. at Vance- Brooks Funeral Home, Macon Road, Columbus Georgia, with the Reverand Udell Addison officiating. Visitation will be on Sunday August 14, 2011, from 4:00 until 6:00 P.M. EST at the funeral home.
Harrell was born March 21, 1937 in Chipley, Florida. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and business owner in the steel fabricating industry. He was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Phenix City, Alabama.
Harrell was preceded in death by his father, Clifford B. Knox and brother, Kenneth Knox.
Survivors include his mother, Vie Golden, his wife, Lurlene, two step sons, Darrell Adkins(Brenda) of Shilo Ga. and Rev. Donny Ray Horton Jr. (Kathy), two step daughters, Debbi Avery of Valley Al., and Donna Cadena (Jackie) of Harris County Ga. Also surviving are his seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to; Fellowship Baptist Church, P.O. 1789 Phenix City AL 36868-1789.

Harrell Knox, my Father. I wish I could have been there to tell you goodbye and that I loved you. There is a void in my heart since I heard but I know you are no longer suffering. Tell PaPa I love and miss him to.
