Mrs. Palmer, who passed away Friday, January 18, 2013, in Kingsport, TN, was born December 25, 1967 in Lee County, Alabama.
Survivors include: husband, Carter Palmer of Salem, AL; two children, Anqunetta McKissic of Rocky Hill, CT and Darius Cook of Opelika, AL; father, Lester McKissic of Opelika, AL; five sisters, Ruthie McKissic, Alesia (Elder Calvin) Patrick, Bertha Mae Trammell all of Auburn, AL, Cynthia (Michael) Whatley of Opelika, AL and Evette (Randy) Echols of Tuscaloosa, AL; one brother, Donnie (Rita) McKissic of Lafayette, AL; mother-in-law, Sarah H. Palmer of Salem, AL; two aunts, Roberta Jenkins of Opelika, AL and Emma Lue Luke of Salem, AL; two uncles, Obie Jenkins of Opelika, AL and Henry Passmore of Salem, AL; god-son, Jajuan "J.J."
