Tony, Was so sorry to hear about your Dad. It has been some time since we have talked but know that you and your
family are in our prayers. I remember when I worked for Tom's Foods how your Dad would always say "Happy New Year"
in July. We were proud to know him.

I am expressing my condolences for my father, George W. Gayle. Daddy read about Mr Triplitt passing away in today's Montgomery Advertiser, and was unable to attend the funeral on such short notice. He considered Rupert a very good friend dating back to the 50's when my Dad worked directly under Mr Triplett at Tom's. Even after Dad bought the distributorship in Montgomery, they remained close. Daddy is 85 years old, semi-retired in Montgomery, but still active in the vending business. He was very saddened to hear of Rupert's death.

My condolences to the family of Mr. Rupert Triplitt. Rupert Triplett was a prince of a man. One of the finest...and a great example. My earliest memory of Rupert was when his son, Tom, and I played Little League Baseball. Rupert was a solid citizen, family man, church/community/business leader and much more. He always greeted me with a warm smile and firm handshake. He was the type of person who encouraged others to do their best. I'm better for having known Mr. Rupert Triplitt. We need more like him.

Sincerely,

Tom and Deborah Altman
