Columbus, GA- Mr. Bobby Jerome Seawright, Jr. passed away Saturday. He was 25 years of age and the beloved son of SFC (Ret) Bobby, Sr. and Angela Jordan Seawright of Columbus.
Born in Ft. Orr, CA, Bobby was a 2009 graduate of Columbus High School and was within a quarter from obtaining his degree in Sports Medicine from Georgia Southern University. He attended the Cusseta Road Church of Christ.
Survivors other than her parents, include: his sister, Keya Lane; grandparents, Tommy and Rose Jordan; a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
The Homegoing Celebration for Bobby will be held Saturday, December 24, 2016 at 12 noon at the Cusseta Road Church of Christ with interment in Evergreen Memorial Park. Dr. Elliott Glasgow will officiate. Visitation is Friday, 2 til 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Condolences may be expressed at progressivefuneralhome.com. Progressive Funeral Home, Inc.

My son had "Mr. Bobby" as an afterschool counselor for two years in Brooklet,Ga. He was loved by the kids so much and we are deeply saddened to hear of this tragedy. Please know that he is deeply missed and we are praying for the Seawright family.

I am saddened to hear of your loss of son, Bobby. I remember Bobby at Stowers Elementary where I was the media specialist.
Bobby was a sweet, outgoing boy. I remember too, Mrs Seawright, that you were often at the school volunteering and helping wherever needed, just being where Bobby was.
