Columbus, Georgia- Jacqueline Peck Alford, 93, of Columbus, GA died Monday, November 2, 2015 at Gentiva Hospice.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel with Father Nicholas Hull officiating. A private interment will be held in Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the services at the funeral home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Alford was born March 22, 1922 in Savannah, GA daughter of the late Warren and Jessie Wallace Peck. She retired from Sears and Robbuck in the credit department and was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Cyrel Jason Alford, sisters, Jessie Hudson and Eleanor Stewart, brothers, John Peck and Warren Peck and son-in-law, Charles Pridgeon.
Survivors include her daughter, Lynn Alford Pridgeon; son, Richard Alford (Julia) all of Columbus, Ga., 4 grandchildren; John Jenkins, Jason Alford (Kelli), Christy Scrivner (Derek), Nicole Watson (Matt); and great- grandchildren, Chris Scrivner, Kate Scrivner, Matthew Scrivner, and Eli Scroggins and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made to Trinity Episcopal Church P.O. Box 1146 Columbus, Georgia 31902.

To the family of Jackie Alford,
Jim and I would like to extend our deepest sympathy on the death of your mom/grandmom. She was not only a good person to work with/for at Sears, she was a wonderful back yard neighbor to our folks, Tom and Isabelle Redden. Our fence side visits were always so welcomed. Remembering Mrs. Alford from my childhood on Arrel Dr. She was a sweet, soft spoken Southern lady who was an asset to our neighborhood. May her family be surrounded with love and peace.
