Urbana, AR- Mr. Joshua Cortez Calhoun, 27, of 221 Union 172, Urbana, AR passed Friday, July 29, 2016 in Little Rock, AR.
Funeral service will be held 3:30 p.m. EST, Saturday, August 13, 2016 at Pine Hill Missionary Baptist Church, Phenix City, AL with Rev. J.C. Fryer, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in Providence Baptist Church Cemetery, Lato, AL. Visitation is Friday, August 12, 2016 from 2 - 8 p.m. EST according to Taylor Funeral Home, Inc.
Mr. Calhoun was born January 14, 1989 in Columbus, GA to Jacqueline Calhoun (Alvin) Barnes of Urbana, AR and the late Henry King. He had been employed with Sonic.
Survivors other than his mother include three daughters, Ja'Kayla Whatley, Ja'Riya Whatlley and Ja'Ziya Whatley all of El Dorado, AR; one sister, Alexis Calhoun of Columbus, GA; two brothers, Allen Calhoun of Newnan, GA and James Earl King of Columbus, GA; maternal grandfather, John Calhoun of Phenix City, AL; a devoted friend, Jaquese Whitley of El Dorado, AR and a host of other relatives and friends.
