Columbus, GA- Maurice A. McGhee, Jr. 25, of Columbus, GA passed Friday, March 24, 2017 at the Midtown Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 2:00PM Saturday, April 1, 2017 in the Chapel at Hill-Watson-People's Funeral Service LLC, 1605 3rd Avenue, Columbus with Rev. Christopher Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Riverdale Cemetery according to Hill-Watson-People's Funeral Service LLC. Visitation will be today, Friday, March 31, 2017 from 1:00PM-7:00PM at the funeral home. Mr. McGhee was born July 3, 1991 in Columbus, GA to Suretha Green and SFC(Ret)Maurice A. McGhee, Sr. Maurice attended Jordan High School, worked at Logan's Roadhouse 7 years and Texas Roadhouse for a year. He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Jeneviah Huling; mother, Suretha(Johnny Sheppard)Green; father SFC(Ret.)Maurice A.(Eureka)McGhee, Sr. ; 6 brothers, Christopher, Alexander, Nicklous Green, Maurkeese, Elijah, Ezekiel McGhee; a sister, Candacia Green; step sister, Britney Grant; sister in law, Tianna Hightower; grandmother, Laura Green; great aunt, Susie Green; grandfather, John Henry Green; uncle, Charles Green; several special cousins, best friends, special friends, cousins, other loving relatives and many dear friends.
