Columbus, GA- Mr. Andy Alphonso Phillip passed Wednesday, October 9, 2013 in Columbus. He resided at 2931 Viking Drive.
A native of St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands, Andy was born November 2, 1982, a son of Lascelle Phillip(Lynn) of St. Thomas and Minelva Challenger of Columbus.
A resident of Columbus most of his life, he was a 2001 graduate of Hardaway High School and received his Bachelors of Science Degree in Graphic Designing from American Intercontinental University in Atlanta, GA. At the time of his passing, he was a Supervisor at Sams Club in Columbus. He was Catholic.
Surviving other than his parents are two brothers, Tywann Challenger and Lenny Phillip; two sisters, Leona Dorsey(Brodric) and Ashley Phillip; nieces and nephews, Brodric Jr, Cody, Natre'L, Destinee and Briana; aunts and uncle, Mary Clarke, Sarah Hunter, Martha Persaud and Lionel Challenger(Rita); a devoted friend, Jackie West; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Andy will be laid to rest at Evergreen Memorial Park on Thursday, October 17, 2013 after a 11:00 A.M. Celebration of Life Service in the sanctuary of Greater Beallwood Baptist Church. Officiating will be Pastor Willie Hill. Visitation is 1 til 6:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. The cortege will depart from the residence Thursday at 10:15 A.M.
