Phenix City, AL- Ashley Cheyanne Arrowsmith, 15, of Phenix City, AL, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 20, 2012.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm EST on Thursday, May 24, 2012, at Philadelphia Baptist Church with Reverend Donald Edwards officiating. Interment will be held at Lakeview Memory Gardens and the family will receive friends this evening from 5:00 until 8:00 pm EST at Vance Memorial Chapel.
Ashley was born on July 6, 1996, in Columbus, GA, the daughter of Patrick Steven Arrowsmith and Melinda Ann Hall Arrowsmith. She attended Philadelphia Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her great grandparents, Billy James Hall, Otto and Ruth Norton and Charles Mac and Margaret Arrowsmith; great aunt Donna Golden, several other aunts, uncles and cousins.
Other than her parents she is survived by her maternal grandparents, Rhonda Hall and Ronnie Smith and Paw Paw, Red Cowart; paternal grandparents, Buddy and Glenda Arrowsmith of Phenix City, AL; a sister, Chelsea Arrowsmith of Phenix City, AL; maternal great grandparents, Willie Mae Peters and Jimmy Peters; maternal great aunts and uncles, Debra and Ron Simmons of Columbus, GA, Donnie Golden of Opelika, AL and Martha Exum of Wellford, SC; maternal aunts and uncles, Bobby Shores, Sr., Heath Weldon, Kristen Cowart, Charles Cowart, Yolanda Pope and Daniel Smith; paternal aunts and uncles, Darren and Dana Arrowsmith, Chris and Jennifer Oliver; maternal cousins, Bobby Shores, Jr., Leigh and Austin Davis, Brandon Davis, Jennifer Golden and Ashley Kirkley; paternal cousins, Joshua Arrowsmith, Matthew Arrowsmith, Rachel Oliver and Jordan Oliver; much more family members and many, many caring friends.
The family will receive flowers or donations may be made to the Phenix City Girls Lady Rebels Slow Pitch Softball.
