Columbus, GA- Mr. Jeffery Bernard "Big Cheffa" Kimbrough, 37, of 3536 St. Mary's Road, Lot D-2, Columbus, GA passed Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at St. Francis Hospital, Columbus, GA.
Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. EST, Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at Words of Wisdom Church with Bishop Barbara Sheppard, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in Green Acres Cemetery. Visitation is today from 1 - 8 p.m. EST according to Taylor Funeral Home, Inc.
Mr. Kimbrough was born January 25, 1975 in Muscogee County, GA to Nora Bell Word Kimbrough of Columbus, GA and late Samuel Kimbrough. He was employed as a promotor in the entertainment industry.
Survivors other than his mother include two sons, Jeffery Bernard Kimbrough, Jr. and Jameson Lawrence both of Columbus, GA; one brother, Reginald Kimbrough of Douglas, GA; three sisters, Jacqueline Kimbrough David (Joseph) and Carolyn Thompson both of Columbus, GA; April Carter (Malcolm) of Ft. Meyers, FL; a devoted companion, Lisa Brown and a host of other relatives and friends.
