Columbus, GA- Nancy "Renee" Eldridge, 25, of Columbus, GA went to be with the Lord Tuesday, July 7, 2015 in Valley, AL.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, July 13, 2015 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Tim Tatum officiating. Interment will follow at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 3:00 to 5:00 PM at the funeral home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Renee was born October 4, 1989 in Columbus, GA daughter of James Ricky Eldridge and Nancy Gail Gray. She graduated Shaw High School in 2008 and was studying accounting at University of Phoenix. She worked as the Property Manager at Cooper Creek Village Apartments and attended Cornerstone Church of God.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Carolyn Benoit Gray, and grandfather, James Nolan Eldridge.
Survivors others than her parents include her brother, James Eldridge (Lauren) of Columbus, GA, sister, Nicole Eldridge (Cartezes) of Columbus, GA, paternal grandmother, Barbara Eldridge, maternal grandfather, Steve Gray both of Columbus, GA, nieces and nephew, whom she loved so dearly, Christopher Eldridge, Aaliyah Chambers and Kelsey Eldridge, her beloved pitbull, Medusa. She was loved and cherished by many and will live in our hearts forever. Rest In Peace Sweet Angel.

I will always remember meeting you. Choosing the seat in the back of the classroom because you were the girl with your head down. You were silent, I was not. Later we found out what we really thought of each other the first day. I thought you were "stuck up" and your thought I was "weird" and I guess stuck up and weird clicked. Who knew that one conversation would lead to almost a 15 year friendship. Even if we went through out "down times" we always picked up where we left off like our friendship never skipped a beat. I will always remember your smile and your laugh. You will always be one of my best friends I've ever had. You are with me constantly. JuSt KNOW THAT I love you !!!!!

I did not know her personally I saw this story to pray for her on Facebook. I am a saint of Jesus Christ and a prayer warrior I begin to pray right away. Our ways are not God's ways some things we will never understand but I know we are in the hands of a just God. Jesus is our comforter he is the only one that can give us peace because he is the only one who truly knows how we feel.
