Phenix City, AL- Mr. Ronald D. "The Real Deal" Samuel, 50, of 421 - 19th Avenue Phenix City, AL passed Sunday, June 17, 2012 at his residence.
Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. EST, Saturday, June 23, 2012 at Pine Hill Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. J.C. Fryer, pastor and Rev. Johnny B. Rutledge officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. Visitation is today from 2 - 8 p.m. EST according to Taylor Funeral Home, Inc.
Mr. Samuel was born March 28, 1962 in Columbus, GA to Voncile Samuel of Columbus, GA and Jimmie Samuel of Brent, AL. Mr. Samuel was a member of Allen Temple A.M.E. Church and was employed at Church's Chicken.
Survivors other than his parents include one brother, Jakara Huston of Macon, GA; three sisters, O'Quita Samuel of Columbus, GA; Jamilah Jakes and Lequita Jakes both of Phenix City, AL; one godbrother and sister, Dexter and V. Denise Wilson of Phenix City, AL; two godchildren, Vertaio Keith Wilson and Amiyah Nenio Wilson both of Phenix City, AL and a host of other relatives and friends.
