Columbus, Georgia- Mrs. Johnnie Mae Gardner, 67, of 1050 Adair Ave. Apt. 701-H, Columbus, Georgia passed Monday, January 20, 2014 at the Midtown Medical Center. Funeral Services will be held 12Noon Saturday, January 25, 2014 at Faith Tabernacle Community Church where Rev. Roy Plummer is the pastor. Bishop Barbara Shepherd will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in Green Acres Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12Noon-6PM Friday, January 24, 2014 at the funeral home, according to Sconiers Funeral Home, 836 5th Ave., Columbus, GA. Mrs. Gardner was born July 13, 1946 in Columbus, Georgia the daughter of the late Lavorn Gardner, Sr. and Annie Pearl Thomas Gardner. She was preceded in death by a sister, Pearl Lee Williams and a brother, Lavorn Gardner, Jr. Survivors include one son, Lee Gardner (Carol) of Columbus, GA; 2 daughters, Johnjulyn Newman (Alphaeus) of Columbus and Laverne Curry (Adrian) of Phenix City, AL; 2 brothers, John Gardner (Lillian) of LaGrange, GA and Marshall Gardner of Columbus, GA; five sisters, Estelle Robinson (Harvey) Eula Jordan and Viola Gardner, all of Columbus, GA; Christine Young (Henry) of Macon, GA and Callie Saxton (Sammie) of West Palm Beach, FL; 12 grandchildren; six great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
