Columbus, GA- Ms. Tundra Y. Davis of Columbus passed away Friday, June 13, 2014 at the St. Francis Hospital. She was 45 years of age and resided at 300 6th Place South, #307 A, Phenix City, AL.
The daughter of Mrs. Queen Bryant Alexander (Victor) of Columbus and the late Lamar Alexander, Tundra was a Columbus native, born on May 4, 1969. She was a 1987 graduate of Hardaway High School and was employed with the Georgia Department of Labor as a switch board operator. She was a member of the Pine Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors other than her parents include: two sons, Desmond Alexander and Andrew Davis; a daughter, Kenyetta Alexander (Meka); three grandchildren; five sisters, Sonya Alexander (Howard), Katrina Alexander (Charlie), Kristen Howard (Carl), Lakeshia Robinson and Kendra Alexander; her grandfather, Mr. Curtis Bryant, Jr.; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
The Homegoing Celebration for Ms. Davis will be held Thursday, June 19, 2014 at 4:00 pm at the Progressive Chapel. Visitation will be Today 3 til 7:00 pm at the funeral home. The family will receive friends and the cortege will depart from 1002 Manly Drive at 3:30 pm the day of the service. Arrangements entrusted to the staff of Progressive Funeral Home, Inc.
