Phenix City, AL- Mr. Jessie Lee "CB" Cobb, 67, of 1706 8th Place So., Phenix City, AL passed Saturday, July 26, 2014 at St. Francis Hospital.
Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. EST, Saturday, August 2, 2014 at Pine Hill Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. J.C. Fryer, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation is today from 1 - 8 p.m. EST according to Taylor Funeral Home, Inc.
Mr. Cobb was born July 4, 1947 in Midway, AL to the late Lonnie Cobb and the late Mittie Dillard Cobb. He was a member of Pine Hill Missionary Baptist Church and retired from Columbus Consolidated Government.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Cobb of Phenix City, AL; his children, Eunice (Johnny) Sparks, Celisa (Sandrika Fair) Cobb and Tracy Davis all of Union Springs, AL; Jesse Brown of Montgomery, AL; Tonya Cobb of Springhill, AL; Michael (Christina) Davis and Terence (Amanda) Jackson both of Phenix City, AL; Samuel (Angie) Clements of Hampton, GA; Joseph Adams of Milwaukee, WI; Denise (Dwight) Thomas of Columbus, GA and Ted Brooks of Florida; six siblings, Julia (Lonnie) Simpson of Salem, AL; Fannie (Nathaniel) Ryles and Henry (Barbara) Cobb both of Ft. Mitchell, AL; Georgia Phillips of Phenix City, AL; Lonnie (Vivian) Cobb, Jr. of Ladonia, AL; Samuel Cobb of Natchev, MS; 33 grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
