Sylacauga, AL- Mildred Stone Frank, 92 of Sylacauga, AL passed away peacefully August 4, 2014. Mrs. Frank was born January 9, 1922 in Wilkinsburg, PA to the late Earl and Mildred Ross Stone. Mildred, a former Member of Edgewood Presbyterian Church in Columbus, GA, most recently attended First Presbyterian Church in Sylacauga, AL.
A graveside service was held at Fort Benning's Main Post Cemetery, August 7, 2014 at 10:00 am with Pastor Judy Hay officiating.
Mrs. Frank is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Harry W. Frank, Sr., and a son, Harry W. Frank, Jr., three brothers, and two sisters. She is survived by her daughter; Alice F. Williamson (Bob) of Sylacauga, AL, two grandsons; Scott W. Williamson (Kim) of Sylacauga, AL, and Todd F. Williamson (Eva) of Auburn, AL, and her sister Flo Thompson (Bob) of West Sunbury, PA.
Mildred was a very unselfish person who loved to surprise her friends with small gifts. She will be missed by all who knew her. Condolences may be offered at www.shcolumbus.com.
