Columbus, GA- Mr. Victor "Vic" Ingersoll, 50, of 1962 Monaco Drive, Columbus, GA passed Friday, August 22, 2014 at his residence.
Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. EST, Friday, August 29, 2014 at New Birth Outreach Church, 10107 Veterans Pkwy. North, Midland, GA with Pastor Farnsworth Coleman, Sr., officiating. Interment will follow in Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Phenix City, AL. Visitation is today from 1 - 8 p.m. EST according to Taylor Funeral Home, Inc.
Mr. Ingersoll was born April 5, 1964 in Muscogee County, GA to Rudolph (Margaret) Ingersoll of Columbus, GA and the late Doris Harris Ingersoll. He was a member of New Birth Outreach Church and had been employed with Frito Lay.
Survivors other than his father include his wife, Yvonne Ingersoll of Columbus, GA; two sons, Joshua (Alveta) Johnson of Lawrenceville, GA and Victor J. Ingersoll of Phenix City, AL; two daughters, Chelsie (Nathan) Rogers and Carlee Ingersoll both of Columbus, GA; three step children, Cedric (Maretta) Thomas, Quinita Thomas and Travis Perry, Jr. all of Columbus, GA; two brothers, Vincent (Robin) Ingersoll of Haymarket, VA and Brandon Ingersoll of Columbus, GA; two sisters, Vickie Thomas and Brandi Ingersoll both of Columbus, GA; seven grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
